Brunel is seeking a Power Distribution SME to provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise for power distribution infrastructure, reliability programs, asset management initiatives, and capital improvement projects. This role is responsible for evaluating, improving, and sustaining the reliability, safety, and performance of overhead power lines, substations, transformers, switchgear, protection systems, and related electrical assets. The successful candidate will lead infrastructure assessments, identify improvement opportunities, and support projects through planning, design, construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance.

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline) with 7+ years of experience in utility, mining, industrial, or large-scale power systems; OR High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of progressive experience in power distribution, substations, maintenance, construction, commissioning, reliability, or technical leadership roles.
* Demonstrated expertise in power distribution infrastructure, including overhead transmission and distribution systems, substations, transformers, medium- and high-voltage switchgear, protective relays, and electrical testing.* Strong knowledge of reliability engineering, asset management, maintenance strategy development, root cause analysis, SCADA systems, and power system operations.
* Experience supporting capital projects, infrastructure assessments, reliability improvement initiatives, and maintenance programs.
Preferred Qualifications
* Professional Engineer (PE) license or industry certifications such as NETA, NICET, PMP, lineworker, or substation technician certifications.
* Experience conducting infrastructure audits, equipment condition assessments, and asset management programs.* Experience leading reliability improvement projects and managing consultants, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
* Knowledge of SAP or similar enterprise asset management systems.* Familiarity with IEEE, ANSI, NESC, NEC, OSHA, and MSHA standards.
